Yulene has 25 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist in various settings including hospital, clinic, home and school. She received her master’s degree in pediatric occupational therapy from the Ohio State University. After graduate school, Yulene worked at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She has worked with children with sensory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other disabling conditions. She is trained in Safe and Sound Protocol, Rhythm of Regulation, DIR/ DIRFloortime, QRI, Brain Gym and is an advanced iLs practitioner. She has trained in several Masgutova Neurosensory Reflex Integration (MNRI) courses and family conferences. She is the author of two books on hand function, “手能生巧”. and Seeing the Light. Yulene hopes to empower parents to create their own space of love, connection and happiness for their children to grow and thrive.
